![]() With its variable speed rear feed conveyor, the System Ten Sixty is an automatic high capacity, ultra high density vertical downstroke baler. Cans, plastic bottles or newsprint, for instance, are simply dumped into the 2 cubic yard infeed hopper. The baler does the rest until a selected bale height is reached. Then the baler shuts down and signals the operator to tie off and eject the bale. Bulky materials such as corrugated cartons are fed manually through the large front loading door. The System Ten Sixty features extra heavy duty construction throughout from the massive 2,400 pound platen assembly to the dual hydraulic chain ejectors which smoothly eject bales weighing over 2,000 pounds. Total system weight is 19,000 pounds. The System Ten Sixty combines the versatility of a downstroke baler with the productivity and bale density previously achieved only by large high density two-ram horizontal balers costing far more. |
